The likelihood of you already seeing most, if not all, of these suggestions is quite high. HOWEVER, maybe you haven't - and either way here are some different resources you may have not found!
DISCLAIMER: This post pretty much doubles as "Fun projects for elementary school kids" but I'm doin' my best

Yoga/Exercise
I don't know about you, but if I sit around for too long I get restless and it is very hard for me to sleep - a little bit of movement during the day is helpful.
Yoga is wonderful because you can take whatever you need from it, and leave what you don't. Not only is it good for you physically but also mentally!
Yoga, pilates, dance classes, and more are being offered in live or video formats all over the place. My climbing gym is offering all of their regular scheduled yoga and Basecamp classes live on Facebook! This is a great opportunity for you to check them out without having a membership! You can check these out here!

Cooking/Baking
I have been attempting some new recipes this past week - some of them have worked really well, others maybe not... Either way there has usually been some yummy result at the end.
Since some food resources are limited due to people panicking and stocking up,I have been working on making things with whatever we have in the in cupboard.
For example: Veggie pot pie! (My new favorite)
I have a Pinterest board dedicated to all my plant-based/gluten free recipes and you can check it out here.
(There are a few recipes I have pinned that are not plant-based or gluten free - I usually pin these for a certain part of the recipe and adapt it to fit my restrictions!)
Arts & Crafts
Recycled Paper:
Tear up paper into a bowl of warm water, mix/blend up until basically a pulp, lay it out on a flat surface to dry for a few days.
Mix in seeds for a plantable greeting card and send to friends!
Collage:
These are just photos cut up from old magazines and catalogs glued onto card stock, but works really well with notebook covers and mod podge.
I went for a garden theme but now is the time to go wild! Vision boards, theme boards, anything!
Self-Sustaining Biosphere:
I collected some moss from a hike, wood chips and soil from the yard and put it into a clean mason jar. Add enough water so the soil is damp all the way through and close the jar tight!
Here are some much better instructions: The Science Classroom

Get outside!!!
There are SO many different options to get outside which means you can still be mindful and keep your distance from other people while taking care of yourself and spending some time not shut-in the house.
I have spent some time hiking, only saw 3 other people on other trails (as well as 2 dogs). I have also spent a lot of time walking around the neighborhood, doing anything just to get out of the house for a little bit of time.
Collecting litter as you go is a great way to get outside, get some exercise, and do something really beneficial for your community.
Learn About the Candidates
It is late for many people, but since I am home I have a whole other week to keep learning and reading about who to vote for in the election! (Here you can check out when your voting day is)
If it is too late to vote in the primaries, it isn't too late to study up on who to vote for in the general election. I want to encourage you to take an extra look at the policies regarding the environment, climate change, fossil fuels, etc.

Make the sustainable switch
Now is the perfect time to use up all of those wasteful products and make the switch to a more sustainable option. As people are stocking up there are quite a few things missing from the shelves but for me, most of that doesn't even matter because I've got myself covered! Reusable pads, menstrual cup, metal water bottle, reusable q-tip, dryer balls, rags, homemade surface cleaners, bar soaps, and more! At the very least, take some time to educate yourself about the things you can do to be more sustainable and to take care of our Mother Earth. <3
Here are some of my favorite resources:
Blogs
Youtube Channels
Online Shops
Netflix Documentaries
Cowspricay
Forks Over Knives
Minimalism
Hulu Documentaries
Food Inc.
Climate Warriors
Eating Animals
Little Disclaimer: Some of these documentaries are extremely hard to watch, for me at least. But, as difficult as these things are to see, I think that makes it even more important to educate yourself on the horrible realities of factory farming and climate change - ignorance is not bliss.
...
I hope you are all staying safe and away from each other for the time being. I also hope this gave you even just one idea to try something new during this weird and confusing time.
xoxo
